Description: At first glance SCP-246 appears to be a standard, 4-number, digital clock with all numbers fluctuating, seemingly at random. However a closer investigation will reveal that a light, which on a conventional alarm clocks would indicate either AM or PM, instead indicates years, months, days, hours, and seconds. SCP-246 was discovered within the ruins of SCP-110. Researchers soon noticed that when an existential threat to the human race is present the numbers will begin counting down in a distinct order. It is hypothesized that SCP-246 is somehow able to detect the closest coming threat to the human race and begins counting down to the moment when humans will become extinct.

Disassembly of SCP-246 reveals no parts not present in any other digital clock, and reassembly does not seem to affect SCP-246's abilities.
