Description: SCP-748 appears to be a semi-automatic handgun manufactured by the ███████ ████ Corporation, model █-██, serial number █████-███████. SCP-748 was brought to and registered with the Foundation as part of the █████████ ███ Agreement by Dr. Mackenzie.
SCP-748 is chambered for standard .45 ACP ammunition, and the magazines that are associated with it hold twelve (12) rounds of ammunition.
When SCP-748 injures a living creature, wounds normal for the type of ammunition used are caused. However, after one hour, these wounds disappear and the target is left unharmed. Nonliving objects damaged by SCP-748 remain damaged.

Details:
Target damaged normally, and remained damage after twelve hours of observation. Subject commented that SCP-748 was exceptionally easy to handle, and had significantly less recoil than similar handguns.

Details:
D-7122 exhibited wound and associated pain normal for the ammunition used. D-7122 administered first aid to stop bleeding. Wound disappears after one hour, and D-7122 reports that no pain is felt. Damage and blood stains on clothing remained.

Procedure: SCP-748 fired at Class D personnel D-7167's chest.
Details:
D-7167 is shot through the heart and death is confirmed by on-site medical personnel. After one hour of observation, D-7167 wakes up, with no sign of wound. Extensive medical check of D-7167 shows no anomalies, not even blood loss. D-7167 recalls all events leading up to his "death".
Addendum:
A full psychological evaluation of D-7167 shows a remarkable drop in violent tendencies compared to his profile before being "killed" by SCP-748. Whether this is attributed to some unknown attribute of SCP-748 or a result of his near-death experience is unknown. Testing to determine whether SCP-748 has any memetic or psychic effects is pending authorization.

Procedure: SCP-157 brought into proximity of SCP-748. SCP-157 transformed into a [DATA EXPUNGED] in .45 caliber. SCP-748 then used to "kill" Class D personnel D-8126 via head shot.
Details:
Wound from SCP-748/SCP-157 disappears after an abnormally long observed period of four (4) hours. D-8126 immediately begins screaming upon regaining consciousness, begging for forgiveness for his "sins". D-8126 restrained by on-site security personnel after attempting to self-terminate, upon which D-8126 becomes semi-catatonic.
Addendum:
A thorough psychological profile as well as polygraph testing showed that D-8126 exhibited extreme guilt for his previous convicted criminal acts, the murder of ████ ██████ and █████ ████ in 19██. In addition, D-8126 gave confession to █ additional criminal acts: [DATA EXPUNGED]. D-8126 terminated normally at end of month, during which D-8126 expressed apprehensive delight at finally being able to "atone".
